"Joshi Hospital" was inaugurated in the year 1986 at Kedgaon, Ahmednagar as "Ambika Nursing Home". When Dr. S.V. Joshi (MBBS) started this nursing home, this was the only center providing Medical, Surgical and Maternity services in the 5-kilometer radius. With increasing demands, an updated Operation theater was built in the year 2000. With arrival of Dr. Pradnya Joshi (MBBS, DGO) and Dr. Ashutosh Joshi (MS ORTHO) in 2011, specialty branches of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Orthopedics were developed, and "Joshi Hospital" was ready to serve with a new name, new team & new facilities. In very few years this hospital became renowned for Knee & Hip Joint Replacement surgeries and now is considered as one of the best Joint replacement centers in Ahmednagar.

Being the oldest maternity home in that area we are catering to even second and third generations for Obstetric & Gynec care with availability of expert guidance, updated equipment, experienced staff & personalized care. Joshi Hospital is attracting newer generations for Gynecological services. In accordance with our policy of regularly updating ourselves recently we have come up with State of Art Modular Operation Theater.
